WEDDING BUSH ricinocarpus
- Age
- Planted 20th August 2006. Purchased from Sydney wildflower nursery Richmond Rd
- 9th September 2006 two purchased from Glenbrook native nursery.
- Indigenous to local area
- Where it's Growing
- Throughout the bush and one in full sun in our garden.
- Upkeep
- Seem to do ok on their own. Although we do prune them quiet alot.
- Growth Patterns
- The plants in full sun do very well & grow quickly. The others in shaded positions grow very slow.
- Flowers in late winter / early spring.
- Future Notes
- The most spectacular native indigenous plant with beautiful smelling flowers.
- 14/10/06- All the newly planted ones are actually flowering in the backyard at the moment still
- 13/8/07- The plant in the middle of the backyard which is in full sun, is doing brilliantly.
The other two up the far backyard are not doing aswell. I think it's because they don't get alot of sun.
