PRICKLY SPIDER FLOWER grevillea juniperina
- Age
- Planted 27th January 2006, x 2
- Where it's Growing
- Full sun exposed areas up top of back garden. But they are in a slight hollow so the water does soak in to them.
- Upkeep
- We water these during summer and they have a good bed of mulch and fertiliser. They grow well for it as they are a ground cover and so need to grow well.
- Growth Patterns
- Have grown very well since going in the ground. Their first flowering season (2006) was a huge succes aswell. They are doing very very well.
- Flowers late Winter Early Spring.
- Future Notes
- Endemic to Western Sydney. Its distribution is centred around an area bounded by Blacktown, Erskine Park, Londonderry & Windsor.
- 13.8.07- These ground covers are already starting to flower nicely, & have grown considerably. They already cover most of up the far backyards garden!
