LIRIOPES liriopo muscari
- Age
- Where it's Growing
- Have had this plant in a pot for years before planting in the ground and adding more. Now they are in a very sheltered
position covered by small gum trees and surrounded in big sanstone rock and slabs.
- Upkeep
- Not alot. Water needs are high for this plant and can look distressed during hot dry weather.
- Growth Patterns
- Grow quiet well. Was covered in seeds this winter (2006) and always has new baby plants coming up.
- Flowers in Autumn.
- Native of the shady forest floors of Eastern Asia including regions in China, Taiwan and Japan. Likes well worked, fertile soil with average moisture.
- Future Notes
- I gave these alot of liquid fertiliser today (26.9.06) as they were looking a bit yellow.
