GREVILLEA GROUND COVER Grevillea X Gaudichaudii
- Age
- Planted 27th Januray 2005. Purchased from wild plant rescue
- Early 2006 around the pond, x 2
- Where it's Growing
- Full sun exposed areas of the far top of the garden and in the front garden on a steep exposed slope.
- Upkeep
- These need a fair bit of upkeep. They seem to rot very easily if covered up with leaf litter or mulch. Especially in winter or when it's wet.
We do have to keep a close eye on them. They don't like fertilisers at all.
- Growth Patterns
- If they do start growing, they grow very well. But they are a bit pretentious and take a while to establish themselves before they start to grow.
- Flowers Early spring.
- Future Notes
- 13.8.07- The two around the pond are starting to flower heavily & are thriving. They do get a decent amount of water and sun compared
to the one up the far backyard which is struggling & has always struggled.
