  • 11th September 2004. Purchased from the Lismore markets.
  • Second put into pot 18/7/07. Purchased Lismore car boot market 15/7/07.
• Where it's Growing
  • We have planted this in half sun half shade. Doesn't get much sun at all in winter and is quiet exposed. The same with the new one in a pot.
• Upkeep
  • I occassionally give this plant charlies carp liquid fertiliser. Not often. It has native violets growing through it and it doesn't seem to mind. It has grown reasonably quickly for a slow growing plant. We do water it a bit in summer.
• Growth Patterns
  • This is growing quiet well. It has had two bursts of new fronds in the two years it's been in the ground. We really don't do much too it.
• Future Notes
  • 12.8.07- I believe the old plant may have some new fronds starting to appear. Fingers crossed!
  • 01.01.08 - New fronds have finally fully opened since appearing mid Spring. The tips of some of the new fronds have been broken off due to a hail storm which hit just as the fronds were opening at the beginning of December.
